Print Design Guidelines (PDF)
Please use this checklist before you submit your artwork:
- Artwork must be 300dpi CMYK
- Embed All Fonts (outline is the best)
- Embed All Images
- Flatten Transparencies
- Flatten Photoshop Layers
- Correct Dimension
- Correct Orientation
- Convert SPOT or PMS Colors to CMYK
- Turn Off Overprint
- Remove ICC profiles
- Make sure files have Bleeds
- Remove Template Guidelines from artwork
- Ink Coverage no more than 280% on solid area
Artwork with large solid color floods may have a modeling effect (inconsistent print coverage) when reproduced due to the nature of the un-coated, textured hemp paper and how it responds to ink and toner coverage.
Certain gradients and fades can also have a modeling effect. Artwork created with a variety of contrast and textures reproduces exceptionally well on hemp paper.
